Mindo Lago Hotel Destino

The hotel offers a unique dining experience on a small boat in the lake, which was quite enjoyable. the presence of a variety of frogs in the area was a highlight for me during my stay. Being able to observe and listen to their croaking and whistling was a memorable experience. the location of the hotel, although a 10-minute walk from the center of town, provided a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, especially at night.

The staff's lack of warmth and helpfulness was a downside. The check-in process was slow and the owner's wife seemed unsure of what she was doing.

The value for our money was excellent and the rooms werevery comfy and tidy. The location in the cloud forest was fine, and the staff treated us with kindness and accommodation.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning, surrounded by the lush greenery of the cloud forest. the small lagoon with a raft and picnic table provides a unique and enjoyable dining experience. the rooms, though basic, are clean and offer amenities such as good towels and plenty of hot water.

The soundproofing of the rooms could be improved, as noise from neighboring rooms and outside activities can disrupt sleep.

We had the most amazing stay at Lago Hotel Destino in Mindo. the natural environment they have created is absolutely stunning, filled with diverse species of frogs, orchids, and indigenous plants. It truly feels like being in a different world, surrounded by the beauty of nature. the hosts were incredibly friendly and provided great advice during our stay. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the clean and refreshing pool, and the outstanding frog chorus in the evening was a delightful experience. the lovely pond added to the peaceful atmosphere. the wild environment and unique atmosphere make Lago Hotel Destino worth a visit. Cons: Nothing could be better - it's simply perfect! 👌.
